Our Data Center Design Engineering team is seeking an exceptional Mechanical Design Engineering Manager to drive transformative mechanical design solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. You’ll be at the forefront of developing next-generation data center technologies, shaping critical infrastructure that powers global cloud computing.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing mechanical design engineering team across the Asia-Pacific region
• Drive the team’s global design consistency and standardization of mechanical systems across multiple geographical regions
• Manage and approve mechanical equipment innovations and design submissions
• Establish robust processes for internal design development and third-party vendor management
• Oversee procurement and technical specifications for mechanical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment
• Manage team reporting, hiring, growth opportunities, annual goal reporting, KPIs and performance reviews

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Extensive experience in mission-critical design
• Proven track record in project management
• Experience managing a team of mechanical engineers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional Engineering license
• Comprehensive understanding of data center design and critical equipment
• Expertise in building codes and regulations across the Asia-Pacific region
• Experience with fast-track design and complex upgrade projects
• Strong ability to develop and communicate complex technical business cases
