As a Public Health Analyst (Policy & Issues Management) you will: Conduct public health policy and issues management activities. Perform projects to analyze public health legislation, regulations, executive directives, and Departmental policy issuances. Analyze public health problems, issues, or program requirements that may be unstable or complex. Solve unusual problems in performing analytic duties involving administrative or support issues. Conduct extensive research including the review of data from public health literature and other sources. Develop materials to explain public health programs to the general public and to specific groups including Congressional staff, legislative committees and subcommittees, state policy makers, Departmental and other executive branch officials, and other groups interested in specific program activities. Assist in developing the organization’s short and long-range goals, and also assists in program evaluation and the measurement of program outcomes. Communicate with key collaborators on matters of policy, research, and program activities. Conduct environmental scanning of relevant developments in the realm of global health security. Perform projects to analyze public health legislation, regulations, executive directives, and Departmental policy issuances. Analyze public health problems, issues, or program requirements that may be unstable or complex. Develop materials to communicate and explain public health policies, programs and priorities to the general public and to specific groups including Congressional staff, legislative committees and subcommittees, state policy makers, Departmental and other executive branch officials, and other key collaborators groups interested in specific program activities. Engage in partnership development and maintenance of critical policy partnerships. Coordinate and manage high level visits for domestic and international meetings and events
