JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Engineer is responsible for reading and understanding the construction design documents and specifications, ability to perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work, overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.
SALARY RANGE: $75,000.00 - $110,000 annually (companywide)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate or pending graduate of a four-year degree program in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Full knowledge of computer software, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of Autocad or Revit a plus.
  • Broad knowledge of LEAN and BIM techniques.
  • Experience with BIM is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

    Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at the job site. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud.
