Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate resources and activities to ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee the implementation of HVAC systems within the project.
• Lead HVAC design activities, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
• Review and approve technical drawings, schematics, and calculations.
• Source and evaluate HVAC equipment and materials.
• Manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements for HVAC services and supplies.
• Conduct quality inspections and tests to verify adherence to design and specifications.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and project team members.
• Facilitate regular meetings to discuss project status, issues, and resolutions.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
• Implement corrective actions to ensure project goals are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
• Prepare presentations and reports for project stakeholders and management.

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 years Experience of leading Data centre projects.
• In-depth knowledge of HVACsystems design, installation, and testing.
• Proficiency in Mechanical engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, Revit).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• Effective decision-making skills under pressure.
• Familiarity with relevant HVAC codes and standards
• Proven team leader capabilities, behaviours, and values
• Experience during both pre-contract and post-contract phases.
• Knowledge of industry best practice
