As a Credit Controller in the retail sector, based in Bristol, you'll manage the day-to-day credit processes, ensuring the smooth running of accounts receivable. Your role will help the business maintain healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.

Description

• Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Handle credit checks and set up new customer accounts.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment agreements.
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve account queries.
• Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and account statuses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations regarding credit control.

Profile

A successful Credit Controller should have:

• Previous experience in credit control or a related role in accounting and finance.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Job Offer
