Job Opening: LPN Home Care Nursing Job – must be licensed LPN or RN
Branch: Tonawanda, NY (Buffalo)
Location: client in Buffalo NY (North Buffalo area)
Rates: $36.00/hr – $40.00/hr

CURRENT AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Overnights: 7pm to 7am, available Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays ($40.00/hr)
Days: 7am to 7pm, available Saturday ($40.00/hr)
Provide nursing care (private) for a quadriplegic client on a ventilator in Buffalo NY. Duties include personal care including feeding, bowel regimen, transfer with Hoyer, extensive turning & positioning, feeding tube care, and medication management. View job description »

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a LPN or RN currently licensed to practice in New York State, with at least six months experience as a LPN or RN and/or competent in knowledge and skills based on successful completion of the pre-employment nursing test and demonstration of skills.
Must be competent in all skills required on assignment following case orientation and on the job training.
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required.
Must have reliable transportation.
This position requires the completion of health examination and required tests/immunizations and the completion of annual health assessment thereafter to certify that the incumbent is free of communicable disease and physically capable of performing assigned duty.
