Description:

The Traywasher is responsible for making sure the tray washing area in the Cheryl’s Cookies Production facility in Westerville, OH and other areas as assigned are maintained at all times.
The individual in this role works on our 2nd Shift, so required days and hours of work are Monday-Thursday between 3:30pm-2:00am.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial tray washer
  • Keep area clean, organized, and dry
  • Maintain flow of production by assisting packing room with tray carts and emptying trash
  • Pull tray carts around to baked wires (check schedule day ahead)
  • Keep “nut” trays (allergens) separated and wash, also including sugar free and low carb trays
  • Test sink sanitizer water twice daily
  • Follow color code policy
  • Utilize wet floor signs as needed
  • Spray out tray washer, filter, and drains at end of shift
  • Sweep and squeegee floors as needed ensure cleaning equipment, i.e. brushes are kept clean and are properly stored
  • Clean bake racks, tray cart, and any other equipment as directed by the QA Manager
  • Ensure daily checklist is complete
  • Maintain Reasonable and Reliable Attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-motivated with a positive, can do attitude
  • Team oriented
  • Able to work independently or with others
  • Strong time management skills
  • Previous experience in sanitation helpful, preferred but not required
  • Must be available to work a 10-hour shift, which works Monday- Thursday Friday, from 3:30pm-2am (10-hour shifts).
  • Must be available to work additional hours and weekends during peak seasons
