JOB DESCRIPTION
The Portfolio Manager will be a key component to the Asset Backed Securitization Group (“ABSG”), who will be responsible for a portfolio of ABS credit relationships. The Portfolio Manager will partner with ABSG’s existing origination function to grow and retain ABS lending commitments across the portfolio. Primary responsibilities include: underwriting new asset-backed lending transactions, retaining and expanding current ABS lending commitments, executing on new/renewed ABS opportunities, and monthly monitoring / reporting of current ABS lending facilities. Additionally, the Portfolio Manager will work with credit risk management, portfolio risk management, legal, and various other stakeholders to ensure transparency for ABS lending activities.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of relevant experience
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Advanced knowledge of Asset Backed Securitization lending, including insights about the risks inherent to ABS, and market knowledge regarding various ABS lending structures
- Detailed orientated, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
