Accessibility tester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accessibility Tester to ensure our digital products are accessible to all users, including individuals with disabilities. The tester will evaluate websites, applications, and other digital content for compliance with accessibility standards such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). Responsibilities include conducting manual and automated tests, identifying barriers, providing actionable feedback, and working closely with developers to ensure accessibility improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of WCAG and ADA standards.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, JAWS, NVDA).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with web development practices and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
• Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS).

• Perform accessibility testing using tools and manual methods.
• Identify and document accessibility issues and suggest fixes.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG, ADA, and other relevant standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement accessible solutions.
• Report on testing results and track progress.
