JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Director for Presidio’s Cloud Solutions will be responsible for selling professional services, management services, and products in the information technology field, particularly to executives in the Commercial and Enterprise space.
The Account Director will be tasked acquiring new customers in the cloud solutions, managed service and cyber security domains.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales objectives primarily through sales to new customers and also through sales of additional services to existing customers.
  • Discover client business needs and propose appropriate product or service.
  • Manage territory, including account planning and opportunity management.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge about Presidio’s products and services.
  • Excellent service is required to ensure assigned accounts meet or exceed client satisfaction through up-selling.
  • Properly forecast monthly, quarterly and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory.
  • Work with key partners to drive associated product revenue.
  • Successfully negotiate contracts.
  • Provide feedback from field experience to sales management with regards to product, selling, competitive matters. etc.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with associates and customers.
  • Effectively transfer thoughts and express ideas using speech and listening skills to influence others and gain support.
  • Competitive, high achiever who persists despite obstacles, opposition or setbacks.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Extensive knowledge of the public cloud and ICT services market with an understanding of how customers are utilizing technologies to drive business outcomes.
  • 5+ years’ sales experience, ideally with 2+ years’ experience selling consulting services in one or more of the following areas:
  • Public Cloud
  • Managed Services
  • Network Services
  • Cyber Security Services
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding annual quota.
  • Demonstrated ability to present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level. The credibility, technical knowledge, and maturity necessary to give high-quality input and presentations is a must.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years information technology sales required
  • Experience working within the Cloud Solutions industry.
