Rexel Canada Atlantic, a division of Rexel Canada Electrical Inc., is a leading edge electrical wholesale distributor with 18 branches across the Maritimes and Newfoundland & Labrador.
We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team in Central Newfoundland. Our ideal candidate will be someone who drives for results, has a history of uncovering new business opportunities, but also provides outstanding customer service. This person will have a passion for providing solution based selling and creating a value-added relationship with their customers.
This is a fully remote opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College diploma (or equivalent.)
- Proven client service and preferably 2 – 3 years of commercial and industrial outside sales experience.
- Computer literate in a Windows environment.
Responsibilities:
- Research the territory to determine new and potential customers. Manage and drive account strategies from prospect to close.
- Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business issues, strategies, and priorities to deliver business solutions.
- Partner with our vendors to ensure we strive to collectively grow our business strategies on an annual basis.
- Maintain good rapport and inform customers of sales promotions to foster a high level of service and sales.
- Develop and present well-structured sales proposals to customers outlining the purpose, key features, advantages and value proposition of the product.
- Act as a liaison to resolve customer concerns, cultivating key business relationships within the assigned territory.
- Work closely with Inside Sales and Branch personnel to ensure timely delivery of products to the customer.
- Provide feedback to marketing\product management on market pricing, trends and opportunities.
- Complete all related account and sales reporting documents in a timely manner.
- Quarterly review of all accounts to identify further opportunities through our current or new product offering.
