About the job:
As an Account Strategist at Google, you will be responsible for driving the growth of Google Ads by building relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and developing tailored strategies to help them achieve their marketing goals. You will be responsible for delivering ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals, establishing relationships with clients via phone calls or email marketing, conducting regular phone consultations and sales pitches to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment, owning a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and building quarterly plans for achievement, and driving customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to own a portfolio in advertising or media sales

Good to have:

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising
  • Consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in the United Kingdom, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
