Description:

Interprets Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP) pronouncements. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues. Prepares general ledger account reconciliations and account balance fluctuation analysis. Prepares standard and specialized financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) according to GAAP. Assists in the preparation of external and internal reporting documents.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE



    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
    • At the manager’s discretion, equivalent additional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
    • 2 - 4 years of experience in the field of accounting required
    • Advanced English

    Responsibilities:

    RESPONSIBILITIES/KNOWLEDGE



      • Works on problems of limited scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

      • Performs assigned tasks by implementing dictated methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
      • Perform month end close activities
      • Preparation of journal entries
      • Validation of inter-company eliminations
      • Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations
      • Assist International Controller with external auditor requests
      • Responsible for adhering to company finance, accounting and security policies and procedures as directed
      • Basic knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
      • Basic knowledge of SEC and IRS reporting requirements
      • Basic knowledge of federal and state financial regulationsBasic time management, communications, presentation, and organizational skills.
      • Bilingual Spanish & Advanced English
      • Ability to identify and resolve basic problems.
      • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
      • Ability to adapt, learn, and apply professional concepts.
      • Ability to interact with internal and external peers.
      • Detail oriented.
      • Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Suite experience(Excel, Office, Word)
      • Beginner to intermediate ERP experience(Oracle or SAP)
