Description:

Hours: Full-Time, Part-Time will be considered for the right person.
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team. The main purpose of the role is to assist the dealership accountant with the preparation and analysis of key financial information for a number of motor dealerships in our group.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS:

✔ Be able to assimilate and interpret data into meaningful financial information
✔ Can work independently
✔ Will work in a meticulous and methodical manner
✔ Flexible approach to work, willing to play a full role in ensuring the success of the whole team
✔ Performs any other duties not in the job description, commensurate with the role, as and when requested by a Manager

Responsibilities:

✔ Complete the cashing up and banking on a daily basis and communicate any issues to the relevant Manager
✔ Perform a weekly credit control review and where necessary, communicate any issues with the Accountant and relevant Manager
✔ Process of supplier invoices, sending to management for authorisation
✔ Monitor Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger accounts for posting errors, unallocated posting and any other issues
✔ Ensure stationery is fully stocked with essential items and process order to replenish when necessary, ensure proper authorisation is given for unessential items
✔ Work with the team to ensure all aspects of the accounts functions are covered
