Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Based in Auckland CBD, the opportunity has arisen for a part time (30 hours) Accounts Receivable Officer, looking for their next step up in their career. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, the Accounts Receivable Officer works closely with both internal and external customers across the Group locations, whilst providing quality assistance to the Management Accountant.
You will be working closely with a team of 4 with the exciting opportunity to provide back up to Accounts Payable. This role would be perfect for someone currently working toward or looking to pursue a Finance degree – this is your chance to gain first-hand experience!
Working days will begin with Monday to Friday 9am-3pm, with the opportunity to alter your hours when you are up and running.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of SeaLink Group debtors and credit control
- Monthly invoicing as required (external and intercompany)
- Provide Management Accountant with weekly aged debtors updates, including status reports.
- Timely response of all debtor queries
- New customer credit checks & system setup
- Back up to Accounts Payable
