Description:
- For the AD role, at least 5 years’ experience in Executive Compensation, gained in a HR consulting firm or in a corporate MNC
- For the A/SA role, min 1 to 3 years of compensation exp
- Articulate with the ability to present to senior management team
Our client is a stable, renowned and global Investment Firm. It is looking to hire 2 roles (one at AD level, one at A/SA level) who will be part of a team which believes that executive compensation design can, indirectly, enhance the investment returns from the group’s portfolio companies.
The team engages with portfolio companies within the group on their executive compensation designs. Several engagements are high-involvement compensation plan designs, others focus on providing guidance to portfolio companies on executive compensation matters. This extends to portfolio companies in all markets, across industries and in different stages of their life cycles (Series A to Mature).
REQUIREMENTS:
- For the AD role, has a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Executive Compensation, either in a HR consulting firm or in a Corporate MNC
- For the A/SA role, min 1 to 3 years of relevant exp in compensation work
- Experience dealing with more complex compensation structures with exp of handling senior management compensation structures would be useful (but not a must)
- For the AD role, some knowledge of Executive Compensation and the basics of Corporate Finance and the basics of analysing the financials of companies is useful (but not a must). This pointer is not required for the A/SA role
- Strong analytical, written communication and presentation skills
- Fast learner who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and, at times, short deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Analysing compensation practices, monitoring trends and developments of relevant industries and markets
- Assisting supervisor in developing incentive plan designs that tie in with the holding company’s investment thesis for a particular asset
- Developing excel-based simulations that provide estimates of costs and consequences of incentive plan designs
- Developing presentation slides that explain, or critique, the rationale behind design proposals
