Description:
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Sales Support role in the Manufacturing industry, located in Ashland, Virginia. This role entails providing operational support and liaising closely with the sales department. The workplace is onsite, where you will be handling customer interactions and managing sales data.
Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer orders received through email and phone. • Check and verify the accuracy of orders and invoices. • Proactively contact clients to obtain missing information or answer their queries. • Regularly update sales and customer records to maintain current and accurate information. • Generate monthly sales reports, providing valuable insights for business decisions. • Assist in the preparation of pricing documentation and proposals for customers. • Respond promptly to customer calls and emails, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. • Assist the sales staff in completing customer paperwork, ensuring all information is accurate and complete. • Input data into the customer management system, maintaining up-to-date records. • Manage the sales department’s calendar, coordinating appointments and meetings efficiently.
- Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing • Strong Data Entry skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with Oracle software • Experience with QuickBooks software • Proficient in SAP software • Previous experience in Administrative Support roles • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High attention to detail • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work
