Description:
Permanent, Part Time (20 hours per week)

- Play an integral part in managing an efficient and effective facilities booking service across Campus.
- Proactively organise, improve, and deliver key timetabling processes.
NGĀ PŪKENGA ME NGĀ WHEAKO - SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- A tertiary qualification at Degree level preferred or Diploma in an appropriate discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Strong technical skills, preferably with experience using software systems used for scheduling and reporting
- Skilled in forging and maintaining collaborative working relationships
- The ability to negotiate solutions with tact and diplomacy with the ability to placate people where necessary
- The ability to multitask and adhere to strict deadlines, in high pressure and complex environments
- Proven ability to identify problem areas and propose solutions
- Outstanding organisational skills, including planning, reporting, monitoring, and analytical skills
- Dedication to following procedures as well as an ability to think outside the square and to find creative solutions
- Understanding the operation of a tertiary academic institution
- Experience in user acceptance testing
- Ability to update content on the intranet Timetabling web page as and when required
- Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in a similar role and experience in user acceptance testing

Support excellent teaching and learning experiences at Ara by providing an efficient and effective facilities booking service across all Ara sites in collaboration with relevant department colleagues. Analyse, develop, and improve existing procedures and systems while providing effective reports and feedback to management.
