Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in the review of journal entries to record foreign exchange revaluation and other compensative income transactions in a timely manner for the monthly general ledger (G/L) close processes.
- Prepare and assist in the review of account reconciliations; debt and hedge accounting analysis of corporate results.
- Support the interface between treasury and hedge Openlink Accounting Desktop and Oracle.
- Ensure that all SOX controls pertaining to monthly GL close process are being maintained for corporate entities.
- Provide ad hoc query support on various financial issues relating to corporate ledgers.
- Work closely with the Cash Management and Banking team as well as the Risk Control team to process enterprise-wide system generated journal entries.
- Build good working relationships with Finance groups in subsidiaries; use indirect facilitative leadership skills to achieve common objectives and goals.
- Maintain an awareness of current US GAAP accounting pronouncements through professional development programs and courses.
