Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist in the review of journal entries to record foreign exchange revaluation and other compensative income transactions in a timely manner for the monthly general ledger (G/L) close processes.
  • Prepare and assist in the review of account reconciliations; debt and hedge accounting analysis of corporate results.
  • Support the interface between treasury and hedge Openlink Accounting Desktop and Oracle.
  • Ensure that all SOX controls pertaining to monthly GL close process are being maintained for corporate entities.
  • Provide ad hoc query support on various financial issues relating to corporate ledgers.
  • Work closely with the Cash Management and Banking team as well as the Risk Control team to process enterprise-wide system generated journal entries.
  • Build good working relationships with Finance groups in subsidiaries; use indirect facilitative leadership skills to achieve common objectives and goals.
  • Maintain an awareness of current US GAAP accounting pronouncements through professional development programs and courses.
