Description:
WHY ARE WE LOOKING FOR AN ANALYTICS ENGINEER?
Analytics at Kivra is decentralized, with analysts embedded within product teams. Our goal is to support analysts by providing a clear overall vision and governance for analytics - a goal you’ll be crucial in helping to achieve. We want to make the development experience for analysts fantastic and simple, by making data easier to work with. This is a new role in the Data Platform and Engineering Team, and you’ll be working closely with both data analysts and data engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Data warehouse design and data modeling
- Drive the vision and implement the improvement plan for the raw/bronze and intermediate/silver layer of our data warehouse
- Manage core analytics datasets and metrics (we have been exploring introducing a semantic layer, and your contribution to this would be vital)
- Encourage good practices when working with dbt (our data transformation tool)
