Description:

- Writing Python code, and experience applying best practices like version control and CI/CD.
- Cloud-based data warehouses (e.g. Big Query, Redshift, Snowflake).

Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
Our analytics engineering function involves leveraging vast user data to drive business strategy and improve user experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modelling, building high-quality data assets using DBT in Big Query, as part of our Google Cloud infrastructure. Additionally, the role would also entail responsibilities of creating and maintaining the semantic modelling layer in our modern BI tool. This role will be part of a highly collaborative team focused on delivering innovative products and features.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Multiple years of experience working within the data space as an engineer or analyst.
- An ability to write and optimise complex SQL queries without thinking about it.
- Extensive experience building robust, reliable, and high-quality data assets.
- Experience with modelling data for consumption by business intelligence platforms.
- Experience with business intelligence tools, especially Looker.
- Plentiful experience working alongside engineers and knowledge of engineering best practices.
- Strong documentation and communication skills (connect engineering and analytics teams).
