Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Android Engineer to build innovative Android applications and SDKs, enabling secure and seamless access to cloud resources. This role is crucial for delivering next-generation mobile solutions, and offers significant impact, visibility, and growth opportunities within the organization. As a key member of the Android Platform team, you will lead technical design and implementation, while also serving as a subject matter expert for the Android platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement mobile applications and SDKs for Android products.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to refine requirements and prototype future architectures.
- Lead and define technical vision and design for the team.
- Develop unique technology differentiators for access management solutions on Android.
- Write and review technical designs and proposals.
- Create unit and functional tests and ensure proper testing coverage.
- Provide leadership and guidance for innovation and best practices.
- Interface with cross-functional teams including QA, Product Management, Technical Support, Documentation, and UX.
Required Skills:
- Android Platform Expertise: Strong experience developing Android apps, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience.
- Development Tools: Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- UI Design: Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Software Development Experience: 5+ years of software development and design experience, with significant exposure to Android platform development.
- Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile development team, leveraging continuous integration and deployment practices.
- Identity & Access Management: Understanding of IAM protocols such as FIDO, U2F, WebAuth, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.
Preferred Skills:
- Security Expertise: Experience in security or systems development for Android, including root detection, code signing, tamper resistance, and PKI.
- Mobile Device Management: Familiarity with mobile device management.
- Public SDKs: Experience working with public-facing SDKs.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $43.92/hour - $68.62/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
