Job Description
Arcadis Vancouver office is looking for a Senior Associate (Architect), Studio Manager Healthcare to join our team. You will work in highly qualified team of healthcare architects, medical planners and interior designers working on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, as well as across Canada and USA. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and development of healthcare facilities along with engaging clients and teams delivering creative solutions. This position provides the professional an opportunity to work with collaborative teams throughout various project stages delivering innovative healthcare solutions for our clients. Candidates should be experienced in all phases of healthcare planning and design, and looking to accept a leadership role.

Role accountabilities:
- Manage a team of 5-8 a team consisting of architects, job captains and intern architects, as required based on the type and size of project
- Managing a Studio Practice in Healthcare
- Reviewing drawings and specifications for quality control and mentoring staff in applicable building codes and construction details
- Working individually or part of a larger team depending on the size of the project to complete feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications and contract documents for tender
- Meeting with clients and representing the firm at various working groups and leading presentations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in architectural within Healthcare
- Licensed Architect
- Experience managing and mentoring a team or Architects, technologists and designers
- Experience in client engagement
- Excellent communication skills are a requirement
