Description:
ASSEMBLY MANAGER
Loadmaster is a rapidly growing national manufacturer of refuse trucks with customers all over the country. Garbage never stops, it always needs to be picked up no matter the weather or the economy and our products play an integral role in that process. Some of our customers include major cities and hauling companies who depend on our products in order to keep their cities, parks, and towns clean and healthy.
The Assembly Manager will be responsible for leading a department of 20-25 employees.
Pre-employment drug testing required
We work (4) ten hour shifts Monday through Thursday and over time on Friday’s as needed.
The ideal candidate would have 2+ years in a production manager role and mechanical and 12v electrical system experience, but these are not required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to operate a forklift/powered industrial truck
- Problem solving abilities

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Responsibilities:
- Take part with interview, training, and evaluating teammates
- Complete daily and weekly timecard corrections to ensure payroll accuracy
- Meeting production goals
- Ensuring the shop is following safety protocols
- Maintaining a high level of quality
- Planning production for the week and month
- Maintaining a clean facility
- Taking on and solving issues or problems which may arise
- Communicating the urgency of any parts shortages that develop
- Managing work schedules
- Rewarding and disciplining employee’s as necessary
- Develop, sustain, and improve production in the department
- Work with other supervisors to coordinate production
