We are currently seeking a skilled individual, who enjoys working with their hands, to join our Production team in the role of Final Assembler. As the Final Assembler, you are responsible for assembling and installing steel and aluminum parts to create a complete product; ensure that they meet our quality standards and prepare them for shipping.
Position: Assembly Technician
Location: Winnipeg, MB - 2168 Springfield Road
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:



    • Experience with hand tools, such as drills, wrenches, multi metre, etc.



      • Mechanically inclined with general labourer experience



        • Able to work in fast-paced shop environment



          • Basic computer skills/knowledge



            • Ability to work alone, with little to no supervision



              • Ability to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs



                • Must own safety boots



                  • Reliable transportation, as HERD is not accessible via public transportation routes

                    Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

                    Evening Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm

                  Responsibilities:



                    • Read and interpret detailed assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications



                      • Assemble components and sub-assemblies accurately and efficiently



                        • Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process



                          • Test and troubleshoot assembled products to identify and resolve any issues or defects



                            • Follow established quality control processes and procedures



                              • Complete production records, quality reports, and other required documentation accurately



                                • Strictly adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
