JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our J.P. Morgan Asset Management Marketing team where you will create and implement strategies to attract and retain clients across Australia and New Zealand, effectively showcasing the firm’s expertise, investment products, and value proposition to drive business growth and reinforce client relationships.
As an Asset Management Marketing Associate within our Asset Management business you will be responsible for developing and managing targeted strategies to raise awareness, educate clients and promote our products including exchange-traded funds (ETFs) effectively within the region.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS:

  • Relevant Bachelor Degree with solid relevant experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of the mutual fund and the ETF landscape as well as both advisor and institutional channels in Australia is essential
  • Logical thinking with an ability to manage multiple and complex business priorities
  • Effective quantitative approach balanced with client insight mindset
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge about digital and social marketing including web, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM), social media and relevant digital tools and platforms preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas in business terms to peers and senior management
  • Attention to detail with an ability to move things forward and execute
  • Excellent project management and collaboration skills
  • Proven good business acumen and results orientation

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Head of Australia/NZ marketing in developing and implementing local channel marketing plans to achieve business and marketing objectives
  • Partnering with our local, regional and global stakeholders and be the marketing representative in driving and advocating the marketing agenda for Australia
  • Providing support for both proprietary and third party sponsored events including liaising with vendors, driving the key message/content for speakers, managing the logistics and finalising the materials
  • Keeping the Australia website up to date and adapt pages for new themes/product campaigns to align with marketing strategy
  • Assisting with managing the wholesale and institutional marketing budgets
  • Analysing market data covering competitors’ activities and client behaviour and turn them into insights to guide and fine tune marketing plans
  • Tracking and measuring marketing outcomes including lead generation, sales conversion and return on investment (ROI)
  • Evaluating end-to-end customer journey across channels and touch points to improve customer experience and engagement
  • Staying ahead of the curve, challenge status quo and strive to outperform competition and achieve better outcomes
  • Complying with all internal and external requirements to ensure the business is in line with changing regulations and evolving guidelines and ensure brand alignment to strengthen brand recognition and equity
