Description:

Manufacturing firm located in the Greater Conshohocken Area is looking to add an Assistant Controller to their finance team. The responsibilities for this role will consist of maintaining daily accounting operations, taxation, overseeing the monthly and quarterly close process, business development, preparing journal entries, assisting with audit request, maintaining the general ledger, monitoring internal controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with treasury and FP& A transactions as needed. The ideal Assistant Controller for this role must have knowledge of GAAP, current industry trends, and excellent auditing skills.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily cash flow process
  • Prepare financial packages
  • Coordinate the quarter, month, year-end process
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Design and implement effective internal controls
  • Account Reconciliation
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Implement process improvement where needed
  • Prepare financial audits and review with external auditors

The ideal Assistant Controller will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar.
Other requirements for the Assistant Controller role include and are not limited to:
5+ years of month end close, financial reporting, and AR oversight experience
CPA preferred
Manufacturing industry a plus
Power BI, Sage preferred
