Responsibilities:

  • At least 50% of your assignment will be spent on academic research in preparation of a doctoral dissertation, situated in the domain of police research
  • You will assist in the teaching activities at the department, amongst other the following courses, that are exclusively taught in Dutch: Police and Judicial Organisation, Public Police Studies, Criminology of the Penal Chain, Deontology and Integrity control or comparable courses in the context of the criminology program reform that will come into effect from AY 2025-2026
  • You will assist in the internal and external services of the department
  • You will assist in guiding and evaluating master dissertations
  • You will provide assistance in supervising internships
