We are seeking candidates with post-secondary education in a relevant domain (Human Resources, Business Administration, etc.) with established, validated experience in a senior leadership role within Human Resources, Recruitment, or similar function. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Assistant Director, Recruitment and Global Mobility, you will lead the strategic direction and operational management of the Recruitment team while overseeing the Global Mobility function that supports relocation, immigration, and external mobility programs. This role is crucial in evolving the Bank’s recruitment strategies and supporting global mobility initiatives to align with the Bank’s short-term & long-term objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and inspiring a high performing team comprised of Recruitment Specialists, Senior Global Mobility Specialist, and a Manager, Recruitment Programs.
  • Coaching and mentoring recruitment professionals by providing support, and development opportunities to guide them in becoming strategic and trusted recruiting partners to the clients they support.
  • Overseeing and providing strategic and visionary direction for recruitment programs, including university recruitment and student work programs. You will drive innovation and continuously evolve our recruitment strategy in line with corporate priorities.
  • Being at the forefront of new recruitment strategies, trends, and emerging technologies and supporting your team to upskill and implement new practices.
  • You will design, develop, and implement high-impact programs that focus on priority talent segments align with business objectives.
  • Leading multi-departmental recruitment initiatives and ensure integration with other HR units with exceptional collaboration skills.
  • Fostering a data-driven culture by ensuring data accuracy and leveraging insights to inform strategic decision making. You will ensure that data drives recruitment strategies that shape our talent pools and delivers value to clients.
  • Effectively manage contract administration, vendor relationships, and budgeting all while maintaining cost efficiency and maximizing return on investment for recruitment initiatives.
