Description:

Here at Cobalt, we are working with a highly regarded real estate company with pan European presence. As part of their continuous strive for excellence, they are looking for an experienced professional to work with the Finance team on various projects. This is a fixed-term contract but there is a possibility this can become a permanent position.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, or equivalent are required.
  • Several years of experience working in Real Estate accounting background.
  • Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS. Other GAAPs would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required, other languages would be beneficial.
  • Be team-orientated, with experience in supervising and developing Junior team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial accounting tasks including funds flows, A to Z accounting, and quarterly reporting in Lux GAAP/IFRS.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting duties for multiple companies, including bank statements, invoices, accruals, and provisions.
  • Prepare and review interest calculation schedules, amortization/depreciation schedules, and quarterly reconciliations.
  • Conduct intercompany reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist in preparing quarterly reporting and ad hoc reports/reconciliations.
  • Guide internal stakeholders on tax-related issues and contribute to improving internal processes and procedures.
