ASSISTANT HEAD OF UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL

Innovative, curious and future-oriented. The Klax School in Pankow is a state-recognised and bilingual all-day school. From the first to the thirteenth grade, we work according to the internationally recognised concept of Klax pedagogy. The school’s content focus is on art and digitalisation. We learn in projects and teach very successfully with the learning management system MS Office 365 Teams. We are proud to have won second place in the German School Award in 2021.
To strengthen our future-oriented team, we are looking for an Assistant Headteacher (m/f/d) for our Upper School in a permanent position as soon as possible.

• Management of the Upper School with 120 pupils and approx. 12 teachers.
• Further development of the Upper School
• Management of the implementation of the school concept and the school focus in the Upper School
• Control of substitution and room planning
• Control of the deployment of staff (m/f/d)
• Conducting team meetings
• Guidance of the learning family coordinators (m/f/d)
• Carrying out admissions interviews
• Participation in school committee work and implementation of resolutions
• Cooperation with other schools and school partners on behalf of the school management
• Organisation of the implementation of the examinations and final examinations in the area of responsibility
