Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise sales floor operations in the areas of customer service, merchandising, housekeeping standards, shipping and receiving and health and safety.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to Associates and provide support to drive productivity and achieve service and sales goals.
  • Contribute to the management of store expenses and operational performance to maximize store profit; assist the Store Manager in delivering on established sales goals and P&L targets.
  • Provide input to the Store Manager to help shape business unit strategy.
  • Mentor and guide Associates to ensure they are well-trained and capable of performing assigned tasks and providing service.
  • Prepare and present performance evaluations and conduct disciplinary actions.
  • Anticipate and effectively address talent needs through proactive recruitment, staffing and training.
  • Maintain knowledge of product selection, location, features and benefits, and in-store promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional and responsive customer service while achieving sales and conversion goals.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the quality of service; investigate, resolve and escalate customer matters as appropriate.
  • Supervise and direct shipping and receiving operations.
  • Perform other directives as assigned.
