The Assistant Project Manager works alongside the Project Manager to plan and execute the Design and Construction of a vessel His/her duties include support Project manager in technical planning and coordination identifying stakeholders’ project needs and goals creating a detailed plan to successfully complete a project driving project reports and documents

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience of shipbuilding project and programming processes
• Good skills to read and analyze drawings and other technical documentationIn-depth knowledge of SOLAS IMO
• classification rules and marine standards Fluency in English
• other languages as advantage
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Good skills for communication and co-operation in multicultural working environment
• Strong problem solving skills Proficiency in Excel MS Word MS Project or equivalent
• PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel and relocate

QUALIFICATIONS:

M Sc Naval architect with minimum 5 years of experience in the shipbuilding industry
