Job Description
About the role:
This role is responsible for providing efficient and timely recruitment management by identifying, sourcing and recruiting candidates for positions across Australia, China, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.
You will independently run the recruitment process for select roles, as well as supporting and assisting the Talent Attraction Director and HR Business Partners across the breath of recruitment in the Asia Pacific region. In doing so, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional candidate experience and in delivering the highest quality recruitment services to the business.
The ability to successfully multitask is essential; as is a strong attention to detail, coupled with a highly organised, confident and professional approach to work.
Responsible for:

Recruitment Initiation

  • Work with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify role vacancies and create or update position descriptions.
  • Instruct HR Service Desk to create positions within the Workday HRIS.
  • Advise hiring manager of optimal candidate sourcing strategies including employee referrals, internet sites and recruitment agencies.
  • Create, edit, and post job descriptions to internal and external job search sites such LinkedIn

Recruitment

  • Evaluate resumes, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, and soliciting feedback on candidates to refine recruiting strategy as applicable.
  • Oversee the coordination and scheduling of interviews, together with Executive Assistants and HR Business Partners.
  • Phone screen candidates to determine suitability, compensation structures and motivations.
  • Conduct verbal reference checks and complete background checks for new employees.

Offer Management

  • Generate contracts of employment and associated supporting documents for Australia, China, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.
  • Understand the legislative environment to ensure employment offers align to local requirements around non-completes, probation periods, leave and other employment conditions.
  • Respond to candidate queries in a timely manner.
  • Create new employee files and ensure all relevant folders and documents are saved as aligned to business requirements.

Recruitment Projects and Reporting

  • Work with the internal legal teams across the Asia Pacific to create and execute services agreements with approved recruitment agencies.
  • Manage the business ‘Sing Pass’ to ensure all vacancies in Singapore are advertised.
  • Ensure the data integrity of the Workday applicant tracking system is updated and maintained on a daily basis.
  • Update the recruitment tracker and ensuring that the wider team is up to date on the status of all roles being recruited.
  • Report on candidate metrics.
  • Ensure all recruitment related documents including Brookfield information for candidates and interview guides are ready to be utilized.

Financial Reporting and Management

  • Ensure recruitment agency invoices match agency agreement terms for payment approvals and recruitment-related invoices are paid in a timely manner.

Stakeholder Management

  • Provide proactive and timely support to the HR team and Line Managers.
  • Treat all stakeholder and candidates (internal and external) with the highest level of care and respect
  • Liaise with all levels of staff and external clients on a professional level and attend to requests in a timely, professional and friendly manner

Qualifications/Experience/Skills

  • 4 + years Talent Acquisition experience in a fast paced corporate environment supporting HR management.
  • Experience in use of Workday’s recruitment module is highly advantageous
  • Experience in recruiting across different geographies such as Australia, China, Singapore, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrate organisational skills to be able to work in a highly demanding working environment.
  • Experience in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong and proven organisational skills.
  • Ability to provide both verbal and written information clearly, succinctly, and persuasively. Excellent command of English (including spelling and grammar)
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy of data entry and transferring of information.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in the Human Resources or business field or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to learn about the Asia Pacific region.
  • Self- motivated and pro-active with strong initiative.
