About the Role
The Splunk Data Management team is at the forefront of building innovative products and tools that enable thousands of companies worldwide to seamlessly extract, transport, and process data from diverse systems into Splunk. We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious early-career Product Manager to join our Product team in Kraków.
As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll collaborate with Senior Product Managers and own critical initiatives within one of our core product areas. You’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in every stage of product development, from uncovering customer pain points and opportunities through research and interviews, to shaping and executing our product vision. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, and key stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that create real value for Splunk’s customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Execution: Drive the implementation of the product vision and strategy for Data Management solutions, translating them into clear, actionable goals. You’ll focus on a key area that directly contributes to Splunk’s revenue growth, making a tangible impact on the company.
Customer-Centricity: Champion the best possible customer experience for data acquisition and processing. Your decisions will prioritize customer satisfaction and create user-focused solutions.
Feedback & Improvement: Continuously improve our products by gathering feedback from diverse teams and customers. Introduce and implement new methods to measure the value we deliver, and act decisively based on those insights.
Deliver Customer Value: Deeply understand the needs of our customers and users. Clearly articulate these needs to cross-functional teams, working with design and engineering to transform them into prioritized features, a compelling roadmap, and innovative solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement: Stay on top of market trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving technologies. Regularly incorporate feedback from internal teams and customers to shape product direction and maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, Product Managers, Product Analytics, Customer Support, and Sales to address business challenges and leverage opportunities for growth, ensuring alignment and driving results.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a Product Manager, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience collaborating with Engineering teams.
Proven ability to prioritize requirements across conflicting demands, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize patterns and distill complex data into clear insights.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead through collaboration, patience, and energy.
Solid business acumen, including strong numerical and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical field is a significant advantage.
A degree in Management or Business studies is a plus.
In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies with demonstrated experience in an Agile environment.
Experience working with enterprise software or in a B2B SaaS environment is highly desirable.
