POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Position is full time, exempt, and is not eligible for overtime.
- Position works an eight (8) hour day shift
- Occasionally (1-33%) travel by airplane
- Frequently (34-67%) travel by car
Responsibilities:
POSITION PURPOSE
To develop new customers and opportunities for add value products. Manage sales for direct OEM business and steel distribution centers for automotive end-users. Support rest of local SSAB organization (SSS) with all SSE sales policies and governance, price strategy and product strategy
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Negotiation of current business on regular cadence.
- Foster current customer relationships and establish new ones.
- Responsible for assigned area with special focus on Premium product sales strategy development.
- Sales management tools; Sales Force, Price configurator Forecasting Tool
- Business development, identifies all possible opportunities, which can be offered by SSAB.
- Identifying target customers and strategy as it relates to overall growth objectives.
- Interfacing with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development as part of a working team.
- Regular and reliable attendance
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / DIRECT REPORTS
