We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect to join our team, capable of designing robust cloud architectures while ensuring security, compliance, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and architect comprehensive and scalable cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS), taking into account the technical and business requirements of clients.
- Define best practices for migrating to AWS and guide clients through the transition from on-premises infrastructures to the cloud.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to design optimized, resilient solutions that comply with security standards.
- Implement high-availability and fault-tolerant architectures using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, VPC, and others.
- Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Ensure cost optimization of cloud solutions by analyzing needs and efficiently allocating resources.
- Guarantee security, compliance, and governance of AWS environments by implementing solutions such as AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management Service (KMS), AWS Security Hub, and others.
- Monitor performance and ensure the resilience of production infrastructures using tools like AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
- Actively participate in technology watch and propose innovative solutions to meet the current and future challenges of clients on AWS.
- Act as a technical mentor and guide internal teams as well as clients in adopting AWS technologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years of experience on AWS.
- Strong experience in designing and architecting AWS cloud solutions, with services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, VPC, and others.
- Solid cloud networking skills (VPC, VPN Gateway, AWS Transit Gateway, Load Balancers) and cloud security expertise (IAM, KMS, CloudTrail).
- Hands-on experience in migrating infrastructures to AWS, including rearchitecting and optimizing applications.
- Ability to develop complex architectures while managing cost optimization, performance, and security.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bilingual (French and English), with advanced writing and presentation skills.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role involving interactions with both national and international clients.
Additional Assets:
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for managing and automating cloud infrastructure deployments.
- Experience with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Good understanding of hybrid environments and connectivity between on-premise and cloud systems.
- Experience with advanced security practices on AWS.
