Description:
Job Introduction About the Role:We are looking for an experienced and motivated Back of House Manager to join our team at Fulham Football Club & Fulham Pier. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all kitchen operations, overseeing cleanliness, safety, and organisation across our catering services. This role is critical in supporting the culinary team, ensuring that all kitchen and food preparation areas are safe, clean, and functional, handling up to 25,000 covers per event, including football matches and various other events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen and food preparation areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Oversee the stock and management of cleaning materials, chemicals, and kitchen equipment.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and monitor their performance.
- Manage the back of house team, focusing on recruitment, training, and development.
- Monitor labour costs and contribute to meeting budgetary expectations.
- Support sustainability initiatives by managing food wastage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH, food handling, and manual handling.
- Organise monthly procurement meetings to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a large-scale event or hospitality environment.
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on cleanliness and safety.
- Proven experience in team management, cost control, and inventory management.
- Intermediate Food Hygiene/Level 2 qualification is required.
- IT literacy and experience using procurement and inventory systems.
- Physically capable of manual tasks related to stock and equipment management.
