Responsibilities:
- Forbairt agus cur i bhfeidhm phlean cur chun feidhme Straitéis Inbhuanaitheachta ilbhliantúil agus phróisis tuairiscithe an Ghrúpa a bhainistiú, rud a spreagann seachadadh an Phlean ar fud an Ghrúpa agus ag ailíniú le straitéis ghnó fhoriomlán an Ghrúpa agus le tuairisciú bliantúil.
- An clár cumarsáide a bhaineann le hInbhuanaitheacht a fhorbairt agus a bhainistiú do pháirtithe leasmhara inmheánacha agus seachtracha agus idirchaidreamh a dhéanamh le foirne cumarsáide inmheánacha agus seachtracha araon.
- Beidh freagracht as tionscadail a bhaineann le hathrú straitéiseach a threorú agus an cumas baill foirne a ghríosú agus a spreagadh, agus ailíniú lenar straitéis a choinneáil ríthábhachtach chun go n-éireoidh leis nó léi an ról.
- Tacú le gníomhaíochtaí a bhaineann le riachtanais tuairiscithe inbhuanaitheachta sheachtracha EirGrid lena n-áirítear an Treoir um Thuairisciú Inbhuanaitheachta Corparáidí agus ár Measúnú ar an Lorg Carbóin
- Tionscnaimh feabhsúcháin don ghnólacht a shainaithint, a mholadh agus a threorú bunaithe ar bhearnaí, ar dheiseanna agus ar thagarmharcáil.
- A chinntiú go leagtar béim chuí ar cheisteanna straitéiseacha agus gnó agus ar réitigh bheartaithe don Cheann Straitéise & Inbhuanaitheachta.
- Ionadaíocht a dhéanamh ar an nGrúpa ag fóraim agus imeachtaí seachtracha.
- Taighde agus anailís a dhéanamh ar threochtaí agus ar reachtaíocht Inbhuanaitheachta nua agus atá ag teacht chun cinn agus cuir i láthair a ullmhú maidir le breithnithe do Ghrúpa EirGrid.
- Cuir i láthair agus páipéir a ullmhú don Phríomhfheidhmeannach agus don Chathaoirleach, chun tacú leo dul i dteagmháil leis an mBord agus le páirtithe leasmhara seachtracha.
- Manage the development and execution of the Group’s multi-year Sustainability Strategy implementation plan and reporting processes driving it’s delivery across the Group and aligning with the overall Group business strategy and annual reporting.
- Develop and manage the Sustainability related communications programme for internal and external stakeholders liaising with both internal and external communication teams.
- Responsible for leading strategic change related projects and the ability to inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with our strategy will be key to success in the role.
- Supporting activities related to EirGrid’s external sustainability reporting requirements including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and our Carbon Footprint Assessment
- Manage the development and preparation of a suite of performance reports and metrics for the Group’s executive leadership team.
- Ensure strategic and business issues and proposed solutions are highlighted appropriately to the Head of Strategy & Sustainability.
- Represent the Group at external forums and events.
- Research and analyse new and emerging Sustainability trends and legislation and prepare presentations on considerations for EirGrid Group.
- Prepare presentations and papers for the Chief Executive and the Chairperson, to support them in engaging with the Board and external stakeholders
