Description:
Are you an empathetic Learning Disabilities CAHMS Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?
We are now recruiting for a qualified and experienced Band 7 Learning Disabilities CAHMS Practitioner to join a well-established NHS trust based in Horley, Surrey on a locum contract. The successful Learning Disabilities CAHMS Practitioner will manage a caseload of children and young people with various mental health conditions. A qualification in a core profession such as Social Work and SWE registered. The post on offer will be an immediate start for an initial 3-month contract working full-time with the view to extending. The post offers competitive salary rates.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
- Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a CAMHS setting
- Managing a caseload
- Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
- Experience with a wide range of young people’s mental health presentations
- Can work well independently and as part of the team
