Responsibilities:

  • Looking for someone with a passion for food and cooking.
  • To help the team maintain the highest standards or cleanliness in all kitchen areas by following the correct measures.
  • To help the Head chef serve food beverages and to serve this appropriately following the head chefs guidance.
  • To help set up the dining room, and to help maintain, once training has been given.
  • To undergo training once this is set up.
  • Ongoing progression and training into cooking the best food for our residents. The Head chef will support and guide you to become a stronger member of the team.
  • Work closely with all the team.
  • Work to minimise wastage and maximise profitability with the Head Chef support.
  • To wash utensils, dishes, jugs, cutlery and all other equipment used.
  • To clean on a daily basis with the Head chef guidance.
  • To inform the Head chef or Home manager of any broken equipment.
  • Ongoing team training and team bonding will be given.
