ABOUT THE ROLE:
Citco Bank provides fully integrated transaction, deposit, foreign exchange and credit facilities to our Fund Services and Governance Services clients. Operating in strategic global centres Citco Bank provides access to best of breed process and technology.
Banking Services Europe is responsible for providing services relating to Treasury middle & back office, Credit, and Payments functions. Based in Dublin, we provide services for all 3 European Banks – the Dublin and Luxembourg Branches and the Amsterdam Head office. Banking Services also provide clearing services on behalf of our Banks in Cayman, Curacao and Toronto.
The purpose of the Banking Services Projects Specialist role is to work closely within a designated project team to drive the successful implementation and upgrades to strategic Banking Projects, including core banking system changes, as laid out by Management. The specialist will be working on the European Branches but will provide information and assistance as required to the Branches in the Americas. This position is essential to ensuring that all aspects of the Payments, Treasury and Reconciliations have been considered as part of the enhancement of existing and migration to new applications and there are no gaps in the processes from “as is” and the “to be” processes.
The successful candidate will also be a key part of training all aspects of the system to a number of different users.
Please note: This is a Fixed-Term contract planned to be effective until end of 2024 or upon completion of the project.
JOB DUTIES IN BRIEF:
- Supporting the business implementation of strategic project initiatives, primarily Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) for foreign-exchange (FX) settlement.
- Support the design of and assist with the training for the business team’s end users to ensure successful implementation
- Be a key participant in the Train the Trainer role
- Create and document user acceptance test cases
- Be actively involved in completing user acceptance testing
- Work within project teams on defects identified to ensure they are documented and understood
- Work with the project teams on any Change Request documents which need to be prepared and review to ensure they match the business needs
- Work within the team on Product set up in UAT and in preparation for Production
- Create and document Standing Operating Procedures and Work Instructions related to these strategic projects
- Actively represent CBN on calls and MS Teams meetings where key information is being shared and decisions need to be made
- Work closely with the Banking Services Management with any concerns and issues as they arise on the projects, providing suggested solutions & setting up meetings as required
- Work closely with other areas departments that are part of a project such as Treasury Front office, Finance and Customer teams to ensure a smooth process flow is defined
- Any other tasks as they arise
