POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth by supporting sales initiatives for utility-scale battery energy storage projects. As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with our sales and engineering teams to identify opportunities, engage with clients, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, renewable energy or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience in sales, engineering, or project management within the energy industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of battery energy storage systems, renewable energy technologies, and grid integration concepts is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to client sites, project locations, and industry events.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads for utility-scale battery energy storage projects.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop customized solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Conduct technical feasibility assessments and site evaluations to determine project feasibility and optimal system configurations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients during project development, including system design, integration, and performance optimization.
  • Assist in preparing project cost estimates, ROI analysis, and financial models to support sales proposals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements related to battery energy storage systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to promote our products and services.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our market presence and generate new business leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve sales processes, product offerings, and customer satisfaction.
