Responsibilities:
ROLE’S MISSION
The Talent Specialist will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of talent acquisition and talent management initiatives and programs that align with Colas Canada’s overarching business objectives and talent strategy.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition committee to create and deliver best practices
- Elaborate onboarding initiatives to improve the integration and engagement of new hires
- Implement and support employer branding initiatives to create and promote content that clearly and accurately articulates our employment value proposition
- Establish and maintain partnerships with school institutions to access emerging talent and stay updated on academic trends and student interests
- Establish and maintain partnerships with local community organizations, non-profits and professional associations to ensure access to a diverse candidate pipeline
- Conduct recruitment process as needed with candidate sourcing, screening and interviewing
- Create and maintain a repository of updated job profiles and job descriptions to support Job evaluation and related projects
- Monitor and analyze recruitment KPIs across subsidiaries, identify trends and recommend solutions
- Assist in tracking and reporting on diversity metrics
- Support the coordination and implementation of events and programs to enhance talent outcomes
