Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Executive Assistant provides high level administrative support to the CEO, drives all board of directors related activities and materials, and serves as the primary administrative liaison to the board of directors within the Office of the CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated track record of supporting Board of Director activities for a nonprofit organization, and a good understanding of corporate governance in nonprofit organizations.
- Superior project management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a high standard for generating quality work and a positive attitude and demeanor.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be capable of working both independently and with a team.
EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced-level skills with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; proficiency with Excel and Zoom; and familiarity with databases such as Salesforce and expense management systems like Concur or Expensify.
- Experienced administrative and organizational skills; excellent communication skills, verbal and written; will be able to work under pressure; and ability to handle complex logistical arrangements.
- The position is demanding and requires excellent attendance, self-motivation, attention to detail, thoroughness, creativity, and a high degree of flexibility.
- Minimum of seven to ten years of comparable experience supporting a C-level executive.
- Travel is required at least four times each year, for 2-4 days each trip.
- Individual will be committed to LIIF’s mission.
- Financial services and community development experience is not required but is a plus.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides a broad variety of executive support in a one-on-one working relationship, serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. The EA supports the CEO in his working relationship and activities with five direct reports on the executive team. The EA also serves as primary administrative liaison to the board of directors and executive team for day-to-day and administrative matters; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and completes special projects. The EA exercises good judgment and maintains confidentiality and discretion in a variety of situations.
