REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.
- Knowledge of relevant tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking to hire a part-time remote Bookkeeper. For this role, your primary focus will be accurately recording and tracking the company’s internal expenses, ensuring proper allocation to projects and ventures, and meticulously reviewing expenses to identify any discrepancies or irregularities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and efficiency within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform manual journal entries and adjustments in QuickBooks Online.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payments.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure timely filing of returns.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for business decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting.
