Are you an experienced Building Scientist with a strong background in thermal modeling, architectural design, and product development?
Does advancing the development of innovative building envelopes interest you?
We are UnitiWall, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Scientist to support our Design and Product Development team. You will work closely with the Senior Director, Product Engineering and Resiliency, and play a crucial role in developing and optimizing our large-scale unitized pre-fabricated wall panels.

What we are offering you

  • $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on experience.

What you’ll be doing

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications, but even if you don’t meet all the criteria, we still encourage you to apply!

  • A degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or Building Science.
  • Must have experience with 2D and 3D modeling platforms like Flixo or Heat or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on thermal modeling of complex junctions.
  • Familiarity with Passive House design principles is a bonus but not a requirement.
  • Proficiency with CAD is ideal but not required.
  • Experience working closely with construction project design teams.
  • A solution-oriented scientist who can turn failing junctions into successful ones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Desire to learn continuously, work more effectively, and enhance technical and professional skills.
