Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

The purpose of the domain of Product Lifecycle Domain is to deliver digital solutions supporting the creation and life cycle management of the product, as well as the order-to-delivery value stream. From customer order, production planning, and manufacturing execution to the delivered cars, we secure the industrial flows with smart digital solutions. This is a newly established domain that will grow over time.
Within the Product Lifecycle domain, we are establishing a Planning & Order Scheduling Team that will be responsible for the entire End-to-End planning process (Sales & Demand Planning, Supply Planning & Production Planning as well as Order Scheduling). New solutions and critical capabilities will have to be stepwise established according to the cycle plan to enable the next step in Polestar’s growth.

To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:

  • End User experience from SAP IBP or other similar planning tools
  • Strong understanding of planning processes, supply chain management, and ERP systems (such as SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA).
  • Ability to thoroughly understand system setup, including integrations, master data usage, and overall architecture, to effectively support and optimize the solution.
  • Have a minimum of +3 years of experience in functional implementation of Planning and ERP systems (preferable in SAP IBP & S/4 SCM Modules)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks and sub-projects
  • Experience in the automotive industry

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, optimizing, and supporting the business processes related to planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are clearly defined, understood, and translated into effective solutions that align with the organization’s goals.

Further on, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Work closely with Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new planning capabilities.
  • Analyze current planning processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new planning processes and systems, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and system configurations to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
