The business line is part of Vacuum Technique Service (VTS) and responsible for the multi-branded strategy in SEA & Oceania, with the intent to become the undisputed leader in General Vacuum Service in the region. This Business Line Manager will be part of the GV CC SEA & Oceania management team, he/she will work closely together with other BLMs of the Vacuum Technique Business Area. A key responsibility of the BLM is to establish a world leading positioning for the VTS brands in the region, with the vision to be “First in mind, First in Choice” with our employees, customers and other stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 8 years in strategical and conceptual capabilities to lead and develop a regional business and proven track record of delivering results in sales and marketing and sound commercial awareness
- University Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline / or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of vacuum technology is highly desirable
- Interest in people and business management
- Strategic and analytical thinker with good communication skills and excellent negotiating skills
- Result-driven, radiant personality, who has strong leadership skills with capability to give enthusiasm to the organization and can communicate with impact
- Strong customer-oriented attitude

Responsibilities:
- Achieve results as per objectives agreed with the General Manager and Division
- Accountable for the Profit and Loss and the Balance Sheet of the business line in the region
- Develop and implement a dedicated and proactive strategy to climb the VTS service ladder in the market that is aligned with the Divisional targets
- Elaborate and implement a strong plan to penetrate the installed base to achieve sustainable, profitable growth
- Lead and further develop a strong service team for field service, sales and service support
- Interact closely together with other Business Line Managers in the region and within VT globally
- Focus on developing all relevant service support channels, direct and indirect, always considering the mix of products best suited for the local market with a strong focus on overall market share, profitability and cost efficiency targets of the business line
- Handle major sales and negotiations for the business line in the region
- Establish and maintain good understanding about and relation to customers to ensure that a high standard of service is delivered
- Manage and monitor resources to ensure that all allocated work is completed on an efficient and effective basis
- Territory Management to ensure to have the best suited organization in place to serve the customers in the most efficient and effective way
- Lead Business Review Meetings with the Division to regularly give an update about the development of the Business Line
- Ensure optimum behavior and performance of the business line with the country/region acting as first point of escalation of business resolution issues.
- Coach and hire top talent, addressing talent gaps and leadership development
- Support and foster ‘One Team” spirit of teamwork, open communication, fairness and respect for the individual within the organization
- Safeguard integrity and transparency of operations and of the legal structure by making sure that Business Code of Practice is understood and applied where relevant.
- Minimum of 50% travel may be required
