Description:
We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our dynamic team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be expected to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and engage in effective communication with vendors. This role is central to our operations and requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable duties, including paying contractors and vendors through QuickBooks and issuing checks.
- Handle accounts receivable operations, including receiving income from third parties and posting in QuickBooks to customer accounts.
- Contribute to payroll operations, primarily through setting up employees for benefits deductions.
- Monitor and reconcile credit card transactions and bank accounts.
- Engage in administrative tasks as required, including phone communications with vendors.
- Use QuickBooks for various financial management tasks, emphasizing accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a friendly and personable demeanor to foster positive relationships with team members and external parties.
- Must possess at least 2 years of experience in an Accounting role or a similar position
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in bookkeeping is required
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks for various business operations is necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred
